Description

It is 2005 in London. Things are still going uphill. Lily Wei is still working in a dingy diner in Chinatown. 20 miles from her home, her daughter Evelyn is waking up in a construction site for her yet unbuilt home, from a nap she supposedly took 20 years later.
She doesn't know what happened, and frankly, she doesn't care. All she knows is she has to act fast, before her mother does what she is going to do.

Raindrops on a White Pear Blossom follows a mother and a daughter as they untangle their past, present, and future, trying to wrangle free of each other's wraiths while sinking deeper and deeper. As the parent-child dynamic is flipped on its head, Raindrops asks the question every parent is afraid to hear: When is it time to let go?
