Description
A crush is an open door. A drug. A narrative. A tangled mess of hate and admiration and narcissism, topped with a pretty sticker.
In What Do You Get For It?, Leo tries to untangle exactly what a crush means for him. He talks (sings?) through his experience of a devastating crush in high school, and how it has broken and made him more than he'd like to admit.
Leo Lu is a (culinarily) seasoned musical theater performer. His debut performance will stay true to what he thinks he's born to do: dumping emotional drama on an industrial scale.
This year the Cambridge University Musical Theatre Society is transforming the Larkum Studio into the CUMTS Cabaret - a chance to explore the enchanting possibilities when music & theatre intertwine. After a successful first run, it is back to showcase powerful storytelling in a uniquely intimate setting: an experience like no other in Cambridge theatre!
